Make a difference in the green transition by becoming a Project Manager at Green Island Vecycle

Do you have project management experience on technical delivery projects? Are you interested in leading the project management of a range of future green energy solutions? Green Island Vecycle is expanding rapidly as they intend to build more than 300 biogas plants in Canada, with plans to grow to other markets. To succeed, Green Island Vecycle, in collaboration with Trifork, has developed a digital project management tool containing a project plan from design start to ready-to-build. In order to achieve these goals, we are looking for a Project Manager who can coordinate efforts across a broad range of stakeholders and become part of the operational heart of this platform.

You will be a key figure in Green Island Vecycle’s biogas plant project development

As a supervising Project Manager, you will be responsible for Green Island Vecycle’s international projects. You will work closely with customers, partners, the design team, the tech team, and other stakeholders in several international markets.

Furthermore, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

• adjustment of the project plan before launching every project
• data collection and -management
• coordinating processes for regulatory approvals
• updating content on the platform to reflect progress in projects
• feedback to the tech team developing on the platform regarding features or UX changes

You have a sharp mindset and can keep the momentum going in a process with many participants

Although you do not need a technical background, you should have technical aptitude, interest, and might previously have worked on digital control systems.

We imagine that you:

• can manage tasks, deliverables, and schedules
• are fluent in English
• are a digital savvy
• have cultural sensitivity in terms of being able to talk to people from many different cultural backgrounds

It is advantageous if you have knowledge of tech development/SCRUM, biogas technology, agriculture and/or development work.
