Head of Retention to Verisure Denmark


Verisure is seeking a talented, innovative, passionate Head of Retention to ensure that our customers remain loyal to us and our brand. The right candidate will be part of our fantastic team located in Glostrup, and work alongside a highly talented and FUN team to identify and resolving any issues that may be causing costumers to leave, as well as finding ways to keep them engaged in the future. Together with the team, the successful candidate will master our business strategy, really getting under the skin of what we do to make a positive impact across our business through creating, maintaining, and controlling our customer retention performance. The candidate will manage the Retention department and drive the agenda on Retention by creating retention discount budget, analyzing data to determine strategies, and maintaining a view on overall cost per retention and leading the execution through the organization. Job

In this transformational context, Verisure will recruit a new Head of Retention for Denmark, who will be a key member of our Extended Management Team (EMT), in which directors and managers review in a monthly basis the most important activities of the month, as well as the business results and challenges from their respective areas, strengthening knowledge sharing and collaboration across departments.

The successful candidate will own the Retention agenda in Denmark and lead the teams responsible for customer growth by reducing churn, increasing conversion and customer engagement. He/she will work alongside the Portfolio Marketing Director and the Management team.

Responsibilities include:

  • Run the day to day retention drumbeat to ensure daily excellence in performance

  • Develop and coach retention team leaders and team members

  • People and performance management decision making

  • Create and manage a retention discount budget

  • Build and maintain a view on overall cost per retention including manning, offers & material

  • Act as the go to function for retention related numbers

  • Run retention efficiency projects from design to execution, in collaboration with the retention team


Your profile


We are looking for a commercial leader who will combine analytic and strategic abilities with a hands-on way of working. Has a proven track record of meeting or exceeding retention targets. The ideal candidate will be analytical as well as operational enabler.

Requirements:

  • Experience with Retention, CRM and a curiosity and desire to learn

  • Approximately 5+ years of experience managing a team, preferably commercial

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant area, preferably in Economics/Business Administration, Sales or Marketing or HD.

  • Danish is mandatory, fluent in English.

  • Experience building strategy, and delivering against that strategy driving business impact

  • Experience communicating with multiple stakeholders ideally in a matrix international organization

  • Excellent leadership skills to motivate and encourage the team to perform their best.

  • Excellent communication skills to ensure professional communication to employees, customers and stakeholders.

  • Excellent analytical skills to assess customer data and predict customer behavior to determine actions to retain customers and grow the business.

  • Financial analysis and execution

  • Great problem-solving skills to identify and address customer issues to ensure customers feel satisfied with their experience and encourage them to continue using our alarm systems.

  • Capability to navigate in a complex organization and challenge status quo. 

  • Take ownership and follows matters through.
