At NNE Construction, Safety & Commission department, we’re proud to say we’re in the process of assisting our customer create the biggest production facility for insulin.

The Department Construction & HSE is a newly established department. It’s part of the area Construction, Safety & Commission and together we make sure that we develop our construction & commissioning projects in a safe and predictable way. We are now looking for a manager to head this new department.

How you might spend your days

As a Manager of the department Construction and HSE, you’ll be working with a dedicated team having a fundamental desire to make a difference by enhancing sustainable solutions in a project focused work environment. The department already consists of 30 Construction Experts and one of your first tasks will be to build the entire HSE part of the department. This means that we expect you to:

• Develop Role and Competence descriptions
• Recruit between 10-20 HSE specialists within the next 18-20 months
• Lead and supervise the team through the development phases a new team go through
• Support and develop systems and procedures within: Site HSE management, site management, construction management, construction planning, plan of resources, time and economy according to customer requirements and expectations and secure fulfilment of plans
• Use your good stakeholder management skills to take part in building and coordinating customer relationships at local site
• Ensure project compliance and ensure that the NNE quality system, standards and methods, including Our Model, are the basis for execution
• Work out of Kalundborg with regular visits to our headoffice in Virum and sites in the Copenhagen area

• Are experienced and highly skilled within management on construction sites and you have well developed competences within Site HSE
• Have a good understanding of project governance structures
• Are experienced working closely with customer

The miles you’ve walked

In all positions there are some things that are needed, and others a bonus. We believe these qualifications are needed for you to do well in this role:

• Minimum 5-8 years’ experience with line management
• Minimum 8-10 years’ experience in site management (Site HSE, Construction, Commissioning), experience from pharma & biotech industries and you have a pronounced safety mindset
• Minimum 10 years of experience in planning, monitoring and controlling of project costs and performance as well as proactive opportunity/risk management
• M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Engineering or similar
• A proven history on successful delivery of complex and large volume construction projects in compliance with agreed cost, schedule and quality targets and in compliance with legal, regulatory and internal Group guidelines and requirements
• Fluent in Danish and English, spoken and written
• You live in Denmark
• A proven history of leading change projects
