Agile Service Delivery Manager for Road IT

In Road IT, we implement, support, and develop IT systems to keep trucks and operational staff working efficiently – every day. Road IT is a crucial part of the major strategic business transformation program in DSV Road. As a part of the project “Road Way Forward”, we are moving to a new state of the art Transport Management System, and by joining Road IT you will take part in the implementation of our future Transport Management System (BluJay). We intend to roll out BluJay in more than 30 countries in Europe the coming years.

By joining Road IT as an Agile Service Delivery Manager, you manage and facilitate our by-daily sessions with our stakeholders from the Business, our vendor, and colleagues from Road IT. You make sure the right tasks are assigned to the right part and proactively follow up on the agreed scope. You ensure we make progress and milestones on the road map are meet.

Project Managers, Business Change Managers, IT Specialists, Product Owners, Service Delivery Managers and Solution Architects

Just to mention a few of your colleagues-to-be. As an Agile Service Delivery Manager in Road IT, you collaborate with lots of different professional competencies within Business Change Management, Road IT, Global IT, and the Business in general. We actively engage in understanding the demands of the Business and strive to help them create more value. You work closely with the management in Road IT and Business Change Management, and you communicate and coordinate according to their needs and desire.

You are an experienced Scrum Master/Project Manager, and the agile approach and methodology is not foreign to you - quite the reverse.

You are not afraid to speak your mind. You have excellence interpersonal abilities and understand how to adapt to different circumstances and settings. You make it clear, which direction you prefer and combined with your enthusiasm your stakeholders back your initiatives. Distinctive features of your way of working are transparency, responsiveness, pragmatic and involvement.

You know how to navigate in a large, global organization. Ideally, you have experience working collaboratively across professional fields. You try to fulfill deadlines and deliverables by using your capacity to engage the people around you and break down issues. Knowledge of the transport and logistic industry is a plus and of course it is beneficial if you know, how to deal with IT deliveries.

You will be a part of an international team with colleagues located in Europe, the US and India. You work out of our DSV Headquarters in Hedehusene, Denmark – about half an hour from Copenhagen Central Station by public transport.
