Head of Project Delivery – greenfield projects in wind and solar

Are you a highly motivated individual with a passion for successfully executing wind turbine and solar cell projects? Are you seeking an opportunity to join a rapidly growing company with a robust pipeline of projects? If you have a proven track record as a skilled project manager in the wind energy sector, we are looking for you to become our new Head of Project Execution.

As Head of Project Delivery, you will be responsible for the Project Delivery team currently in Denmark and Scotland. You will be responsible for the development and maintenance of the full EPC process of our wind and solar projects, with a goal of achieving a substantial growth in installed capacity in the next years.

As responsible for our Project delivery Team you must ensure good, value-creating and safety-promoting cooperation with site owners, advisers, suppliers, and subcontractors. You will never compromise with safety.

You will coordinate the overall planning of the projects in all phases of the EPC process and monitor milestones and adherence to budgets, and initiate actions to minimize risk.

Your primary tasks:

• Development and definition of standards and procedures.
• Develop and implement strategic corporate goals and processes for EPC including project specific procurement strategies.
• Lead and develop the Wind Estate Project Delivery team including technical leadership, identification of development potential and further development of employees.
• Tendering of contracts and contract negotiations with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Coordinating with executive management on the topics of costing, planning, and reporting for the Project Delivery team.
• Execute monthly project reviews and ensure corrective actions are initiated when needed.
• Drive close out and turnover coordination with Service & Maintenance.
• Ensure lessons learned are captured and areas of improvements are addressed.
• Manage project risk continuously and insure full project risk transparency.

The ideal candidate should preferably have solid experience within the renewable industry within an onshore EPC setting, including project management and procurement experience. As a person you have excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods.
