As Group Finance Director at Frontmatec, you will be part of a global organization, allowing you to work with several colleagues and stakeholders. In 2022, Frontmatec, the leading global player in the red meat processing industry, was acquired by the international private equity firm KKR as part of its Food Technology investment platform. As Group Finance Director, you will be very important in developing financial processes and internal controls.

With direct report to CFO, you will be responsible for global tax, governance, audit, treasury, cash management and US GAAP accounting policies. You will be responsible for managing two employees, the Group Finance Manager and Head of Shared Services, and together with your finance colleagues in the global business units, you will focus on improving and standardizing internal processes across business units to ensure efficiency and full global compliance within, e.g. month-end processes, internal controls, transfer pricing, tax and VAT.

Your main areas of responsibilities are:

• Month-end closing
• Audit, annual reports, internal controls, and compliance
• Finance Shared Service Center
• Transfer pricing and tax
• Treasury
• Support M&A activities
• People/Team Management

Your qualifications are strong in global tax, VAT, compliance, transfer pricing and audits. Ideally, you have a background from an international audit firm combined with experience from an international corporate finance function in a company with a high level of complexity. Furthermore, you have a good understanding of internal controls, and you most likely have experience with project-based accounting.

You have a Master’s Degree in business administration, Auditing, or similar combined with experience from a similar role in an international environment.

You have a positive and inspiring work attitude and a hands-on working style focusing on action, activities and results. With excellent communication skills, you set clear goals and ensure the correct information flow. With your focus on quality and continuous improvement, you exhibit proactivity in planning and structuring tasks to meet deadlines.
