Strong leader to develop the Nordic Region into a global market leader in storage solutions

As Commercial Director Nordics at stow Nordics, you will be accountable for the Nordic markets and the managerial responsibility of employees located in the region. You will add value to stow Group’s growth activities by identifying commercial opportunities, managing marketing efforts, and keeping abreast of trends and market conditions, thereby growing the Scandinavian markets and ensuring and developing the organisation. The goal is to promote and expand the company’s commercial activities and generate revenues that enhance and ensure sustainable growth.

With direct report to the CSO of stow Group, the Commercial Director Nordics will lead the regional management team and the Scandinavian organisation and closely collaborate with the management and support functions at the Belgium headquarters.

Your main responsibilities will be:

– Business strategy development:

  • Develop and implement commercial strategies according to company goals and objectives
  • Conduct market research and analysis to create detailed business plans for commercial opportunities
  • Understand the requirements of existing customers to ensure their needs are met

– Management and organisational development:

  • Develop the Scandinavian organisation
  • Facilitate and lead the Nordic Management Team
  • Lead by example through individual performance and behaviour, providing staff with clear guidance and direction

– Profit & Loss responsibility:

  • Financial responsibility for profit and loss within stow Nordics (P/L)

– Business and sales development:

  • Generally supporting and cooperating with sales and project managers on sales, project execution and commissioning, and delivery
  • Building and maintaining profitable partnerships with key stakeholders

Your qualifications are based on a great commercial mindset and at least 5 years of sales and commercial experience from a similar position and industry. Ideally, you have a technical background, e.g., engineer, and a well-developed understanding of logistics and storage solutions. You are experienced in solutions sales within the logistic industry and has documented business and market development results. Additionally, you possess good financial knowledge and experience in working with complex sales and project portfolios.

You are a person with great communication skills and communicate well across all organisational levels and confidently communicate complex products to different stakeholder groups, both internally and externally. Your surroundings recognise you as a proactive, outgoing, and trusting person with a structured and open mindset as well as a natural ability to take the lead.

stow Nordics is market-leading in Europe within racking solutions and has ideal conditions to grow the Scandinavian market and the regional organisation through a consistent and continuous sales and management effort. Thus, there are good conditions for the Commercial Director Nordics to grow the role and responsibilities.
