We – Maersk Project Logistics – have an opening as Senior Project Manager & Solutions Specialist within our Wind & Renewables team. We handle all types of transportation for our clients, both over-dimensional and containerized, which means our workday is very diverse and no 2 days are alike. You will be part of a new built Global Team with a desire to deliver best in class service, effective communication, cost awareness and continuous performance which supports our growth aspirations and the success of our customers within Project Logistics.

The position will be located in Aarhus, Denmark.

Key responsibilities

As a Senior Project Manager & Solutions Specialist, you will be a part of a larger team of 200 experienced colleagues in the Maersk Project Logistics product, where we strive to deliver the best service for our customers.

Together with the Wind & Renewables team you will play a key role in designing tailor-made logistics solutions and coordinate projects for our customers, as well as being part of our accelerated growth within our segment.

You will be engaged in many aspects of the project forwarding industry including:

· Key customer responsibility

· Solutions design

· Executing transport and logistics solutions globally

· Vessel chartering

· Procuring and evaluating offers from sub-contractors together with the ops team

· Daily contact with customers and suppliers

To be successful in this role we believe you bring the following:

· You have minimum 10 years’ experience working in forwarding/logistics.

· You have significant experience with the Wind & Renewables segment

· Experience with over dimensional transports by sea and/or road and/or air.

· You can work in a structured and organized way, but also keep an innovative mindset.

· You are a team player but can also carry out assignments independently.

· You are responsible, hardworking, and energetic.

· Interested in working with different cultures around the world.

· Fluent in both written and verbal English – other language skills are welcome.
