Opportunity
Join the Network Strategy team as we resolve the optimal long run topology of the ocean network, how it integrates with networks in other modes, and the investments in assets and technology required to implement it. You will play a part in setting strategy for this critical part of our global operation, ensuring it is designed and optimized to deliver our product ambitions and strategic objectives.

You will be a part of experienced team with diverse academic and functional backgrounds. We work daily on hard interdisciplinary problems, connecting research advancements with customer needs through a deep connection to the business and selected external partners.
Responsibilities
- R&D on new prescriptive analytics in Ocean and integrated networks, including external collaboration.
- Business ownership of key network-related technical capabilities.
- Leadership of an international team.
- Extensive collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Help to prioritize and drive the productionalization of new design analytics which pass the PoC stage.
What you bring
- Experience and skill in applied industrial optimization.
- Leadership experience of technical teams doing R&D in optimization (not software engineering where method is already resolved).
- Demonstrated ability to form technology strategy in capital-intensive settings.
- Strong collaboration capabilities, internal and external to the organization.
- A passion and curiosity for innovation and determination in the face of hard problems.
- Strong program leadership capabilities.
Preferred qualifications:
- STEM masters.
- Advanced undergraduate mathematics essential.
