At NNE Construction, Site HSE and Commissioning & Qualification department, we’re proud to say we’re in the process of helping our customer create the biggest production facility for insulin in Europe ever before.

The Department Site & Construction Management is a newly established department. It’s part of the area Construction, Site HSE and Commissioning & Qualification department and together we make sure that we execute our construction & commissioning projects in a safe and predictable way. The department consists of 30 Senior Site Managers/ Construction Managers and we are now looking for a Manager to head this new department.

How you might spend your days

As a Department Manager of the department Site & Construction Management, you’ll be working with a dedicated team with a fundamental desire to make a difference by enhancing sustainable solutions in a project driven work environment.
This means that we expect you to:

• Develop Role and Competence descriptions.
  
• Recruit Senior Construction Managers/Senior Site Managers.
  
• Lead and manage the team through the development phases a new team goes through leveraging your years of experience ensuring a supportive and collaborative atmosphere.
  
• Support and develop systems and procedures within site management, construction management, construction planning, plan of resources, time and economy according to customer requirements and expectations and secure fulfilment of plans.
  
• Use your exceptional stakeholder management skills, honed over years of experience, to build and coordinate customer relationships at local site, promoting a culture of respect and understanding.
  
• Ensure project compliance and ensure that the NNE quality system, standards and methods, including Our Model, are the basis for execution.
  
• Work out of Kalundborg with regular visits to our head office in Virum and sites in the Copenhagen area.

• Have years of experience in the field of construction & commissioning that have equipped you with a deep understanding of the industry and its challenges.
  
• Are experienced and highly competent within management on construction sites.
  
• Have a good understanding of project governance structures.
  
• Are experienced working closely with customer.
  
• You probably have knowledge or experience from using 4D/ 5D tools and are excited about developing our digital tools within our site & construction management, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning. Your years of experience give you a unique perspective on the value of these tools in the industry.
  
• You live in Denmark.

The miles you’ve walked

In all positions there are some things that are needed, and others a bonus. We believe these qualifications are needed for you to do well in this role:

• Minimum 5-8 years’ experience with line management.
  
• Demonstrate management skills in managing, mentoring and coaching employees – from graduate to senior employees.
  
• Minimum 8-10 years’ experience in site management (Site HSE, Construction, Commissioning), preferably from pharma & biotech industries and you have a pronounced safety mindset.
  
• Experience in setting up and developing of system and process within our area. Scheduling of construction and commissioning, system for managing of temporary work and installations etc.
  
• M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Engineering or similar.
  
• Fluent in Danish and English, spoken and written.
  
• A proven track record in leading change projects.
