We're seeking a dynamic and visionary leader to take on the position of Global Head of Route Development Management - Air Freight. Key Responsibilities: Reporting into the Global Head of Air Freight As the Global Head of Route Development Management, you'll be at the helm of revolutionizing our airfreight strategy. Here's a glimpse of what you'll be accountable for: Strategic Leadership: Lead and drive power and power prospects lanes with a laser focus on LME and DTS customer segments. Ensure double-digit volume growth and profitability on all Power Lanes and Power Prospect Lanes. Alignment Expert: Foster collaboration between origins and destinations, being the decision-maker when alignment seems elusive. Market Expansion: Develop strategies for expansion, surpassing market growth to support our journey. Stay attuned to market trends, spotting new opportunities to expand our trade lane program. Emerging markets like LATAM, West Central Asia and Africa. Business Development: Identify and develop potential customers collaboratively with the sales team. Lead the value proposition per PTL + PPL. Global Governance: Lead the development of membership rules and enhance governance standards within the Maersk Air network. What you bring: We're seeking a high-flying professional with the following critical competencies: Experience: logistics and airfreight, with senior leadership experience. Commercial Prowess: Strong commercial skills with a proven track record of P&L responsibility. Customer Focus: experience in customer-facing positions, preferably with international exposure. Heavy focus on the SME space. Motivational Leadership: Enthusiastic and able to motivate others, with a knack for influencing cross-functional teams. Up to a team of 5 to manage. Accountabilities: Your success in this role will be measured by your ability to: Deliver targets in designated power and power prospect lanes for Air. Guide the organization to focus on key PTL + PPL. Drive growth beyond market expectations, focusing on diversified verticals for higher yields.
