The role as Center of Excellence (CoE) Managers offers a great opportunity to lead a winning team and be a strong enabler in shaping the success of our increased focus on Project Logistics. The position can be be based in any Nordic country.

Key responsibilities

As a CoE Manager of Nordics (NDC), you will be leading a team of 35 experienced colleagues in the Maersk Project Logistics product in Denmark, Sweden, Finland & U.K., where we strive to deliver the best service for our customers.

The position is newly established and require an entrepreneurial mindset to lead 7 operational managers in growth.

The position requires solid leadership skills with initial task of further building on the team’s success. Together with your team you will play a key role in designing tailor-made logistics solutions and coordination of various projects for our customers as well as being part of our accelerated growth within our segment.

Your main responsibilities will be:

• Manage the existing team leaders within the Nordic + U.K. area.
• Expanding the team throughout Nordic + U.K. with our growth & expansion ambition.
• Drive the development of MPL Project Nordics through the operations manager’s in alignment with our European strategy.
• Engagement & contribution to the European operational leadership team.

Required experience & skills:

• Proven Leadership skills
• Entrepreneurial knowledge of building teams cross countries
• Experience from Project Logistics
• Excellent communication skills, including both verbal and written fluency in English
• A collaborative mindset with a “can do” attitude
• Eagerness to be best in class and part of a winning team
• Ability to be flexible when needed as our job is not always 8-16
• Ability to travel approx. 15-25 days a year
