Opportunity

Oversee global solution design and bid response process across all regions to align resources, tools and create and manage content to support global growth strategy and financial goals. Establish and manage bid response strategy and solution design with bid sponsor, ensure timely engagement of relevant stakeholders and deliver complete winning proposal, with a defined scope, accurate Quality Costs Delivery Performance (QCDP) commitments, in a timely manner and within the defined tender requirements.Global Head of Solution Design and Bid Management - Maersk Project Logistics - Denmark, Germany, Netherlands or United Kingdom - Hybrid OR Remote (location specific)

This role will develop and own the global solution design and bid management process and governance for MPL. Responsible for building and maintaining a high-performance and high-win-rate global solution design and bid management team with relevant vertical competencies and regional representation. Create and evolve a global toolbox kit and repository of solution design and bid response tools and content to support global growth strategy and financial goals.

The right candidate will Represent MPL Solution design/Bid response in the OMEB process and drive proactive engagement with growth and commercial owners to establish bid response strategy and solution design with the bid sponsor, ensure timely engagement of relevant stakeholders, and deliver a complete winning proposal promptly and within the defined tender requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Global Processes: Oversee solution design and bid management processes, ensuring top-quality responses that adhere to the OMEB process and product standards.
• Create a winning formula and CoE: Develop a high-performance matrixed team with strong vertical competencies and regional representation.
• Create Strategic Tools: Develop and maintain a global toolbox of solution design and bid response tools to support MPL's growth.
• Engage Proactively: Represent MPL Solution Design/Bid Response in the OMEB process, collaborating with growth and commercial leaders to establish winning bid strategies.
• Ensure Compliance: Clear all responses through legal, HSSE, quality, and compliance gates before submission.
• Resource Management: Develop and catalog resource library materials for regional bid teams, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Monitor and Report: Provide regular updates on tender pipeline activity, health, and trends for strategic planning.
• Customer Engagement: Attend negotiations and contract meetings, ensuring all customer questions align with the commercial strategy.
• Manage Critical Bids: Oversee Tender Quality Costs Delivery Performance (QCDP) for critical bids, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
• Post-Mortem Analysis: Implement lessons learned from critical bid reviews to continually improve processes.

Qualifications

• Technical Expertise: Extensive knowledge in project solution design, pricing, and value proposition design.
• Customer-Focused: Experience in customer-facing engagements and presentations.
• Collaborative Leader: Ability to facilitate cross-functional decision-making across regions and internal stakeholders.
• Excellent Communicator: Strong communication skills to effectively lead and engage with diverse teams.
