Safety Inspector
We are looking for an experienced and present Safety Inspector who thrives with safety standards in the plant and is passionate about creating safe workplaces through close collaboration, risk assessments and clear guidelines.
You will be a part of a department where the areas of responsibility are safety in a production environment that includes cement production, port facilities and raw material extraction.
The job
The primary task will be to support Production, Maintenance and Project teams regarding Health & Safety issues. Further, you will contribute to planning, risk assessment and setting clear guidelines for the safe performance of the work, both in daily operations and during major maintenance tasks.
The tasks will include, among other things:
Teach, communicate and further develop the way to a Safe Workplace
Monitor and verify that the work is being done under the current safety rules
Active involvement in safety coordination during planning and execution phase of major maintenance work
Carry out and follow up on safety walk and talks
Maintain safety data base for reported incidents and update action plans
Involve in root cause analyses (RCA) for the safety incidents
Follow-up conversations with employees and external contractors regarding safety-conscious behavior
Support revision of safety instructions
Determine and follow up on relevant KPIs
Participate in and develop the working environment organization
Conduct on-site safety trainings for employees and external contractors
Your profile
We imagine that you have a technical background and previous experience with similar tasks working with production processes in an industry with large machinery, work at height and other risk areas.
You must also have completed the working environment coordinator training (P/B).
In addition, you have a high drive, thrive in a busy environment, and can identify with the following:
Have a technical understanding
Are good at implementing and communicating guidelines and making decisions
Are analytical and understand correlations
Are systematic and ensure that tasks are followed through and completed on time
Can communicate orally and in writing in both Danish and English
