Power Solutions Product Management Global Technical Sales Support
Product Management sits at the heart of Vestas' product development, and the Value Capture Models team is a systems development team that sits within Product Management with a broad responsibility around the key tools that Vestas uses for the commercial evaluation of products and sales opportunities in the market.
These tools have a very high business impact and are used widely though-out the Sales, Finance and Service areas. They are tightly integrated into both Vestas' core SAP solution, and also many of the specialised data sources and applications that play a part in Vestas' IT landscape. This is a unique team made up of cross functional multi-national experts in finance, business, systems and product knowledge, working in close collaboration with many business stakeholders and IT experts, and plays a key role in guiding and implementing system innovation and development.
Responsibilities
You will be engaged with a number of advanced technical and financial calculation models. The role's primary responsibilities include the ongoing maintenance, development and enhancement of the existing modelling methods, including business implementation, training and support. You will engage with multiple stakeholders in the business to communicate key knowledge and solve mathematical, commercial and financial challenges through system development. You will provide innovation, guidance and best practice for financial modelling in the team and develop a strong collaboration with other financial and commercial experts in the organisation.

Qualifications
Candidates will be expected to have had:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a commercial or finance related role
- Minimum of 5 years' programming experience in a business environment
- Experience with complex project execution and software implementation
- Finance degree, which would ideally be combined with Computer Science or equivalent
- Proven foundation in the .NET framework along with being comfortable in VB/C#
- Experience with SQL and inside-out knowledge of Excel
- You must be fully comfortable working in English
