Sales Global Supply Chain Transport and Customs Operations Support
Global Supply Chain is within the CSO organisation with dotted line report into the COO function. The SVP of Global Supply Chain (GSC) represented in both the CSO and COO management team. GSC is a global organisation with more than 400 employees based in different locations all around the world. We handle 100,000's of shipments across our worldwide factories in our global supply chain every year.

This includes having best in class global operations through value chain cost out, reliably deliver anywhere in the world by adapting to market changes in an agile approach through competitive footprint and having one set of S&OP numbers and a continuously optimised portfolio plan.

Within the GSC organisation the department Logistic and Manufacturing Excellence are placed. The department purpose is to support Vestas Operation around the globe - both at the specific factory level, Transport inbound and outbound and Sales / Construction. In this department the team Logistic System are placed. This team are responsible for the global support on the two SAP templates (ECC and TM) and the MES system Apriso. The team are in a ongoing dialog with +3.000 Superusers and End-users supporting and developing the usage of the templates. Often the daily task are combining competences from all functions within Logistic and Manufacturing Excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinating a team of +20 hard working persons, located in Denmark, India and Spain
  • Support the team in carrying out their daily work according to vision and strategy
  • Maintain a consolidated overview of programs, projects and tasks and ensure that constrains are resolved
  • Depending on profile, act as solution lead on specific projects supported by the team
  • Facilitate and define the solution roadmaps in collaboration with stakeholders
  • Within the Logistics Excellence management team participate in overall prioritisation of task and contribute in setting the direction for developing the department and it's deliverables towards stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Experience in global business support and supervising system development cross multiple stakeholders
  • Experience in coordinating a global team of highly professional specialist
  • Solid understanding of SAP ECC, and preferable SAP TM and MES system)
  • Supplementary to your several years of professional experience, you have 3-5 years of management experience within a global environment
  • Work experience from the financial area of business operation
  • Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Development, Engineering or similar
