Do you have +2 years’ experience from the Supply Chain domain, combined with a background in IT and management consulting from a top tier firm or blue-chip organisation? Global IT Vestas Solutions Production
You will join Vestas Solutions department as part of Vestas Global IT organisation. We are accountable for all IT offerings for our Value Chain business applications (R&D, Sales and Marketing, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Sourcing, Transport, and Logistics, Finance and Human Resources), from early idea and innovation through project, operation, optimisation and finally decommissioning.
We act as advisors for our business units, establishing and accelerating technology implementation and enabling business strategy powered by IT. The department bridges business and IT, and together with key stakeholders in our business units we deliver IT Strategy, value, roadmaps, designs, and plan deliveries, ensuring a robust operation through our partners.
This position will provide advisory services to Vestas Solution management team and IT Business Partners. Specialised in Operations (Supply Chain, Fulfilment, Manufacturing and their corresponding IT supporting tools), you will join a consulting team which is in charge of designing and implementing processes and change interventions that bridges strategy, people and technology in order to create value for our internal customers. You will be advising in complex Supply Chain transformation journeys, stemming from the TO BE state and our current portfolio of cross functional running projects, driving our business units through IT solution development and governance.
Leveraging your expertise, you will assist our customers to determine where they are on their journeys and design achievable strategies to address their key business priorities.

Responsibilities
Main responsibilities:

  • Support Global IT to bring our Business stakeholder engagement to the next level, building trust, in order to accelerate our business transformations powered by technology
  • Understand our Business strategy and goals, the main value drivers related and the derived business and IT capabilities to build business cases
  • E2E processes drafting and roadmapping, e.g. in the discrete manufacturing industry (Make to Order or Make to Stock). We are focusing on the standardisation and industrialisation of our processes
  • Business cases monitoring, enabling value-based decisions and inspiring our Business stakeholders on how to maximise the value they get out of IT
  • Shape and bring to life our visions, making them presentable, related to any of our four main Value Chain processes: Idea to Market, Market to Order, Order to Delivery and Delivery to Renewal

Qualifications

  • Relevant Masters’ degree e.g. within Business Administration / Engineering / IT
  • Experience implementing and integrating systems: ERPs, MES, Transport mgmt. systems, SC planning...
  • Above 2 years of experience in Supply Chain area is necessary (Demand Planning, Demand Management, Supply Planning, Production Planning and Execution, Fulfilment, Inventory Management, Inventory Optimisation, S&OP...)
  • Experience in IT and management consulting in a respected consulting firm or blue-chip organisation
  • Experience with Digital transformations across the Value Chain
  • Fluent in English, both oral and written

  • Ability to develop and apply supply chain and consulting skills and competencies effectively to solve complex business issues

  • Ability to translate IT complexity into understandable business outcomes
  • Experience of working with a wide range of stakeholders, including engagement at the senior management level
