Are you ready to step into the renewable industry and take on a central role as IT Compliance & Risk Specialist?
Finance Global IT IT Audit & Compliance
You will become a part of a centrally placed department with the ambition to collaborate and support across Vestas to further lift the information security, risk & compliance discipline.
The IT Audit & Compliance department is a part of the Office of the CIO and collaborates broadly across the organisation within the information security, risk & compliance domain through virtual network structures.
Responsibilities
As a risk and compliance specialist, you will assume the responsibility of further develop the IT risk methodology and framework support Global IT in mapping and maintaining a list of IT security controls based on known standards such as ISO27001, NIST, etc.
Reporting will be done a regular basis to identify risks from control gaps and assist in identifying mitigation actions.
Within the reports, extracts should be produced of the IT security controls to demonstrate compliance towards audit and customer tenders.
From a capability perspective, you will facilitate and engage with others in our organization to ensure we have common understanding of IT security controls, usage and validation of IT security controls and enable a common process for follow up on IT security control gaps.
You will recommend and guide a transformation towards an integrated approach across global IT on how we handle IT security controls. You will design and document the processes and reports as well as plan and organise the audit process of our IT security controls.
Qualifications
To be considered for this position you hold a relevant education experience from similar positions, preferable within the energy industry.

Qualifications
To be considered for this position you hold a relevant education experience from similar positions, preferable within the energy industry.
- General understanding of IT infrastructure and IT security controls
- Knowledge of governance, risk, and compliance concepts
- Understand auditing, attestation and certification standards (SOC type 2, NIST, COBIT, ISO,etc.)
- Application of frameworks and industry standards such as ISO27k series, NIST, IEC62443 and similar
- Engage, facilitate, lead workshops and groups of senior IT architects and business stakeholders
Competencies

- You have sufficient technical knowledge (of system administration, network, and operating system hardening) to maintain conversations with Solution Architects and Subject Matter Experts.

- You can translate operational requirements into protection needs (i.e., security controls)
- You have a strategic and pragmatic approach to IT security controls and validation of these
- You are a self-driven team-oriented person who can influence other stakeholders in the organisation
