Would you like to be Service Port Specialist and play a significant role in the continuous development of the offshore wind market as a member of our Port Contracting & Support department?
Sales Offshore Operations Port Contracting & Support
Having the right set-up with facilities for office personnel and technicians, access routes, warehouse, quay side with lay-down area and berths for vessels etc. is a key element in any offshore service agreement Vestas enters into. The service port facilities will together with the vessel set-up need to make Vestas capable of excel in the execution of a service agreement.
We have an exciting open position in our Port Contracting & Support team where we are looking for a candidate who will be able to assess and deal with service ports for offshore operations, irrespective of whether the service port will be provided by the customer or Vestas. You will become part of a Cross Regional Offshore Support department with skilled and experienced subject matter experts supporting offshore wind projects worldwide.

Responsibilities
Our new Service Port Specialist will be responsible for:
- Conduct service port assessments of area and capacity
- Pro-active contact and communication with ports
- Secure service port availability including negotiation of lease agreement when Vestas is providing the service port
- Develop generic service port requirements
- Manage internal stakeholders
- Play an active role in a sales team on a specific project by reviewing and commenting on sales documentation, participate in customer meetings and provide cost input
- Participate in new developments and concepts for service ports
Competencies
We are looking for a person with the following competencies:
- Solid knowledge about service operational matters and needs
- Project Management experience
- Commercial and contract understanding and interest
- Experienced user of MS Office applications
- Fluent in English, both verbal and written
- Cultural understanding and international working experience
Personal Skills
The ideal candidate possesses as many as possible of the below skills:
- A team player with solid communication skills
- Capable of working independently
- Profound understanding of the commercial context in which results will need to be delivered
- Display a high degree of flexibility, and problem solving to create win-win solutions for Vestas and our clients
