The Global Supply Chain Excellence team transforms capabilities, processes and tools in order to elevate the performance of Global Supply Chain.
This transformation is first about people, then processes and tools, and in this role, you will engage with a broad variety of stakeholders, and have significant exposure to both Global Supply Chain Management and many layers and functions across the organisation.
As Senior Director, Global Supply Chain Excellence, you will lead and inspire a dedicated team consisting of six supply chain experts.

As Senior Director, Global Supply Chain Excellence, you will lead and inspire a dedicated team consisting of six supply chain experts.
Responsibilities
- Lead your team and the transformation of Global Supply Chain to excellence through the continuous improvement of capabilities, processes and tools
- Engage with various functions on process re-design, competence development and change management
- Assess current and future capabilities, and design and deploy development plans accordingly
- Design and deploy best-in-class processes.
- Specify, select and deploy tools
- Actively engage stakeholders across the value chain for buy-in through transparent, effective and timely communication
- Functional scope: portfolio planning, production planning, inventory and lead time, logistics and risk management
Qualifications
- Relevant university degree combined with long and significant experience in operations, supply chain and logistics
- Solid experience with leading and engaging people and stakeholders
- Proven experience of effective business transformation projects
- Good understanding of the wind industry or similar industries
- Great project management skills and experience in running internal cross-functional projects
- Cross-cultural awareness and experience from a global matrix organisation
- Fluency in English, both verbally and in writing
Competencies
- Great leadership and change management capabilities
- Solid ability to set direction and vision, create a roadmap and execute persistently
- Significant ability to engage and influence multiple stakeholders including senior executives from various functions
- A convincing communicator who knows how to motivate people
- Able to handle multiple priorities and activities
- A structured and pragmatic approach and can create an effective plan and keep tight deadlines
