We are currently looking for a Flight Optimization & Capacity lead in Billund.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor Flight and Operational Processes
- Ensure Data quality within operational systems in order to ensure accurate planning
- Safeguard space commitments towards customers
- Distribute and ensure adherence to Policies and Procedures
- Plan an optimum weight and volume mix per flight based on actual bookings and freight on hand (
- Plan capacity utilization based on route and cargo mix
- Manage and control pre-books and ad hoc shipments
- Inform stakeholder in case of overbookings or underbookings
- Advise internal stakeholders on cargo needs to further optimize the flights
- Plan ULD build up in the most efficient manner and in accordance with all rules and regulations as well as internal quality standards
- Determine build up priorities in case of irregularities in concert with in and external stakeholders
- Issue ULD build up lists and all other relevant documentation and labeling
- Determine positions of the ULD ‘s in accordance with flight operator
- Issue and distribute flight manifest to all relevant in and external parties
Accountable for
·Initiation of improvement measures for the OCFO service
·Regular alignment with Global GSSA/OCFO Team to improve processes and reduce process deviations.
Critical competencies
•Experience in Airline Yield Management & Operations & Handling as well as the Airfreight market in general
•Profound English/Excel and Power BI skills
•Interest in Supplier contact
•Customer minded
•Experience in ULD Build processes
•(IATA) rules and regulations
•Analytical skills as well spatial awareness
