About the department
You will be part of our newly established Global Talent and Succession team, residing in the Novo Nordisk Talent Management Centre of Excellence (CoE). The team consists of 9 dedicated colleagues situated in different locations across the world focusing on talent management and development. Our main goal is to build a strong and diverse talent pipeline to meet current and future business needs.
We are looking for a specialist that can contribute to the CoE with a deep knowledge on talent management, thought leadership and new trends to ensure that we drive the global talent and succession management agenda across Novo Nordisk and challenge status quo.
The position
As our new Senior Talent and Succession Consultant, you will use your expertise to challenge and influence our talent management agenda across Novo Nordisk. You are expected to ensure that we stay abreast of latest research and trends and that we bring outside-in thinking to drive the best in class talent and succession management initiatives aligned with our corporate strategy. You will be responsible for designing our global talent review and succession planning framework as well as ensuring an effective deployment of the framework across the organisation. This includes driving global projects, implementing communication plans and robust change management processes, and you will use your outstanding stakeholder management skills to build trusting and collaborative relationships with key stakeholders around the new approach.
In this role, you will also be in charge of leading our talent and succession data analyses and reporting at a global level. This includes preparing data for Executive Management and making clear recommendations on areas of improvement. Your tasks will also include leading projects related to the enhancement of the SuccessFactors system and ensure a smooth user experience. Finally, you will lead a small team of two talent specialists, and you will be considered a key contributor to drive the team performance towards great results by inspiring your colleagues to maintain a good team spirit and a high level of professional passion.
You should expect around 30 travel days a year.
Qualifications
You hold a degree within business, HR, Psychology or similar. You bring a minimum of 10 years of proven HR record from specialized HR functions within talent development, succession management, leadership development, learning & development or performance management. You are a great change manager and have solid experience with driving transformation processes to successful implementation. It is considered an advantage, if you have experience with people management, as you will have two direct reports in this role and help drive day to day interactions with other team members.
As a person, you have strong interpersonal skills, show engagement and authenticity. You are able to engage with and influence stakeholders at all levels, and your strong interpersonal skills assist you in creating trustful relationships that enables you to challenge stakeholders at all levels.
You are a strong communicator and are fluent in English.
This position is not tied to any geographical office/location.
