Project Manager & Editor in Corporate Communication

Would you like to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, putting your editorial skills to work on behalf of one of the world’s leading pharmaceutical companies? The position

  • Lead and facilitate the development of strategic, priority content for our global social media
  • Play a leading editorial role within our NovoNews function, providing need-to-know and inspiring news and features to colleagues in Denmark and beyond
  • Providing communication, copy writing and editorial consultancy to colleagues across the business
  • Act as mentor and go-to-person for our journalist intern

Qualifications

  • Degree in journalism or in a relevant field such as communication or public affairs, supplemented with a qualification in journalism.
  • A minimum of three-to-five years’ experience in writing, editing and publishing news for print and digital media
  • Ideally 2-3 years’ experience working within multimedia content production projects
  • Critically, a fluent and a capable writer in our corporate language of English, as well as Danish
  • Demonstrated project management skills and to be comfortable providing counsel to senior colleagues around communication.
  • Strong sense of the motivations and curosity of our audiences and the context in which our communication will land. Curious about key topics of interest for Novo Nordisk including but not limited to public health, scientific innovation and environmental responsibility

About the department

Corporate Content is a team of six journalists, strategists and production specialists supporting the wider Corporate Communication department and global communication organisation in Novo Nordisk. We develop creative, compelling content for key audiences with the ambition of positioning Novo Nordisk as the leading brand in the pharmaceutical industry. We are also drive the internal news function with channels catering to our global and Denmark-based audiences of more than 43,000 and 18,000 people respectively. We’re an open-minded, supportive and collaborative team that know we are stronger when we combine our collective brain power.
