We are looking for a Head of QAE Innovation who will set the direction for the Quality Assurance Engineering in the Ambu Innovation portfolio. You will lead a team with dedicated and highly skilled employees and collaborate cross-functionally with our product development teams. You will also collaborate closely with colleagues in Malaysia, China USA and Germany.
You will be part of a strong quality culture, where we keep ahead of new regulatory requirements and constantly strive for improvements. You will work from our Headquarters in Ballerup, Denmark and join a Corporate Quality Engineering team where you will refer to the Director for Corporate Quality Engineering.

Your key responsibilities will be to:
Leadership and experience with Quality Assurance
To succeed in the job, you need to have at least five years of leadership experience within the Quality Assurance area. It is also important that you can lead and not only manage your area and that your way of working has a positive impact on your stakeholders.
This means that you have excellent communication skills and you are people-oriented but never lose sight of deliveries and deadlines. You have experience with working in a high paced environment and you are not afraid to roll up your sleeves and solve tasks yourself. Your business understanding makes you able to translate regulatory and quality requirements into effective business processes.
It is important that you have experience with Design Control, Risk Management, ISO 13485, 21 CFR Part 820 and ISO14971.

- Lead the QAE Innovation team and set the direction and objectives for Quality Assurance Engineering in Ambu
- Continuously develop the Quality Assurance Engineering area, including ensuring efficient QMS processes within your own area of responsibility
- Coordinate and be in charge of Quality Assurance Engineering’s input to design control processes and projects (including design changes), which will enable development of products that fulfil customer expectations, have the right quality and comply with regulatory requirements
- Take charge of Risk Management and support Design Control processes.
