They are now looking for a skilled profile with proven experience in Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) and with excellent problem-solving skills to join the Quality Management System team in Corporate Quality.As the new CAPA Manager, you are overall responsible for the management of the Corporate CAPA system and for the management of the CAPA processes. Furthermore, you will participate in audits and also handle specific CAPAs along with the implementation of learnings based on these CAPAs.It is important that the CAPA Manager can facilitate change and is in possession of a strong problem-solving toolbox. The person must be able to conduct thorough analysis and find the root cause of the problems.The CAPA Manager will join the existing team of six people and will report directly to the Head of Quality Management Systems, Kim Glenert. The CAPA Manager will have one direct report who is a Quality Coordinator.Key Responsibilities
Besides the areas mentioned above, some of the key responsibilities of the role will involve:Management of CAPA Systems and CAPA Processes Management of the Quality Coordinator Prepare and facilitate regular corporate CAPA decision board Follow up and measure progress of corporate CAPAs Monitor local CAPAs and influence CAPA handling locally Prepare reports for quarterly management reviews Maintain and develop processes and procedures in the corporate QMS (processes related to CAPA in particular) Ensure relevant stakeholders are familiar with the CAPA system and provide training as necessary Drive CAPA actions through good problem-solving tools (DMAIC, Lean, Fishbone, 5 Why’s) and statistical tools used in CAPA execution Strong analytical skills with solid problem-solving experience
It is expected that you are a strong team player with good communication and cooperation skills, who demonstrates proactivity and self-drive. You are passionate about quality and the use of best practices and methodologies. You are a strong influencer who is able to guide and train the business in the correct handling of CAPAs and afterwards you can implement the learnings in the existing processes.
We expect you to hold a degree at minimum bachelor’s level within engineering or another relevant technical field. You bring at least 5+ years of relevant experience with handling of CAPAs within a regulated industry, preferably the Medical Devices industry.If you share our passion for helping people, we look forward to receiving your application!
