Joining GN – leading major technology shifts with intelligent audio solutions
At GN, we develop innovative hearing solutions with great sound quality and excellent design to ensure that people will be able to hear more, do more and be more than ever thought possible.
Based out of Ballerup, you will be managing 14 highly professional and specialized members of the Data & Analytics team, 10 specialists in Manila as well as a number of external consultants, also located at our HQ in Ballerup. You will further be part of various internal leadership networks, and you will be reporting to the Head of Data & Enabling Services.
The Data & Analytics team is growing fast – both in terms of members and areas of expertise. We are today delivering BI, analytics and reporting solutions, but we are also in the process of transforming our current data platforms into a modern cloud-based platform as well as adding new analytical capabilities within AI and Machine Learning.
Professional and personal development and direction of your team
As our new head of the Data & Analytics department, you have end-to-end responsibility for the development and operations of our data and analytics platforms and solutions. You will be part of developing our strategy for the area and making sure there is a clear direction for the team. Our new BI Delivery Manager will be your right hand and in charge of the day-to-day delivery process and sparring with the team.
You will also play a part in developing new, agile delivery models across the entire IT function.
Specific tasks include:
Strong leadership experience and data analytics knowledge
With your solid experience of managing a team of technical specialists, you are able to build a team of highly specialized profiles and manage them on a day-to-day basis. Furthermore, you are familiar with data, analytics and IT architecture, though not necessarily from a developer or other specialist roles.
As a person with a commercial mindset, you have a good understanding for how data can contribute to business value. Lastly, you will be needing your amazing stakeholder management skills, since a fair share of your time will be spent outside of IT to understand and explain how data can contribute to our organization.

- Developing strategies for the Data & Analytics area, translating these into concrete road maps and execution plans in close collaboration with relevant stakeholders in the team, Group IT and business functions in GN
- Engaging with senior stakeholders across GN to develop a clear picture of the data and analytical capabilities needed across the business
- Managing and delivering platforms and solutions according to business needs
- Leading, motivating, developing and appraising team members to reach individual and collective performance goals and business needs
- Developing and maintaining effective relationships with vendors and partners
Strong leadership experience and data analytics knowledge

- A good understanding of core data and analytics principles, architectures and technology platforms
