We are looking for a visionary Global Head of Organisational Development to lead our organisational initiatives to leverage a strong engagement and cultural identity, including leveraging leadership capabilities as a strategic enabler. This role is crucial in ensuring our culture evolve and our leaders are prepared to meet the challenges of today and tomorrow.

Reporting to the Chief People Officer, you will own the full organisational development agenda. Our current focus is in particular on developing our leaders to continue driving growth at [xxxxx]. Basing your decisions on existing and upcoming initiatives, you will be taking [xxxxx]’s organisational development agenda to the next level by tying individual initiatives to the overarching vision. You will be responsible for identifying areas with the highest impact potential, develop the strategy to address this and finally, you will be the one to make it happen! Further, it will be your responsibility to ensure that existing and future initiatives underpinning the strategy are launched in a sustainable manner across the organisation, ensuring longevity in their impact.

This is an individual contributor role, so it is important that you feel comfortable, and enjoy, leading through the organisation rather a hierarchy. While you will form a strong part of the global People & Culture leadership team in driving the overarching P&C strategy forward, you also find satisfaction in executing on our strategy and following through on our vision. While you may have previous management experience, you will primarily lead through impact rather than teams in this role.
The role will be based out of our HQ in Ballerup, Denmark, with limited travel involved.


Key responsibilities


Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Own the vision and strategy for Organisational Development agenda across [xxxxx] globally
  • Maintain and develop initial existing activities, e.g. Employee Engagement, embedding of company values etc. to further develop leadership skillset across the organisation
  • Identify, design, launch and embed new organizational initiatives to further [xxxxx]’s strategic objectives through a strong organisational performance culture
  • Closely collaborate with with global HR Business Partners, other CoE’s and leadership across the wider business to align organizational development initiatives with business objectives.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of development initiatives


Suggested candidate profile


Skills and experiences can be earned in many different ways, and we understand that the best fit for the role cannot be prescribed on paper. You are however likely to succeed in this position if you:

  • Extensive experience developing and leveraging leadership skills at an organisational level to drive company strategy
  • Previous experience with OD strategy ideation and execution from an early stage standpoint. It is crucial that you are strong in and enjoy being involved in all stages of the initiatives you develop and launch, including execution
  • Previous experience from developing, leading and implementing organisational initiatives at a global scale
  • Experience in a broader P&C leadership role considered an advantage
  • A creative approach to problem solving, with a focus on driving results for the business as a whole
  • Ability to execute on your vision to create lasting impact in the organisation
  • Prior experience working in an international, highly matrixed organisation
