Do you want to own the responsibility for all technical aspects of a successful company in the healthcare industry?
SARSTEDT ApS is a young Danish company that has developed the ground-breaking transportation system for small clinical samples in hospitals, Tempus600. Since its launch in 2010, Tempus600 has enjoyed tremendous interest from the hospitals sector across the world and is today sold in more than 20 countries throughout Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. Earlier this year, the company became part of German-based SARSTEDT, one of the global leading manufacturers and suppliers of consumables and instruments for medicine and science.
In order to strengthen the technical capabilities and structure of the company, SARSTEDT ApS is now looking for a Technical & Development Manager, responsible for the technical departments of the company. Together with your team, you will drive new product development projects, perform all product testing and documentation, conduct training of distributors, and ensure the high quality installation of systems.
Furthermore, you will support sales on winning projects, engage with customers on maintenance contracts, as well as handling the technical support function and quality claims. Your team also has responsibility for the quality management system and conducts audits of suppliers and installations. SARSTEDT has outsourced manufacturing, so a part of your responsibility is to manage your suppliers and ensure an efficient operation.
Being a strong and confident leader of your team, which currently consists of 8 people, is a key part of this role; you set the tone and ensure a high level of motivation and performance.
Strong technical foundation combined with a passion for leadership
You have experience leading a technical team within a relevant industry, including product development. As an individual you are highly motivated, and you enjoy working with technical products in an international environment. You have a passion for leadership and have excellent communication and analytical skills.
