The Tracking industry has ventured into a new phase where the older 2G networks are being replaced by 4G and 5G network across most markets which means development of equivalent products. Flextrack A/S is looking for a new director for their Danish Business Unit to steer the company through these new and exciting waters.
As Flextrack is the groups hardware specialist it is important that the new manager has the technical insights to be a competent sparring partner for the clients/partners across Europe and to set the right direction in the business development working closely with the R&D department.
Apart from playing a key role in sales, marketing, and R&D the manager will be operationally responsible for the P&L, leading the local leader group and to ensure that the production of the hardware runs smoothly.
Based on your technical background within electronics, telecom, or connectivity you have a sound commercial instinct that enables you to both develop existing partners and to win new ones. You have demonstrated this in your previous jobs. You are probably working as a sales manager / technical manager in a similar technical organisation where key words like IoT, HW design, embedded programming have been part of your daily vocabulary. You are ready to take the full responsibility of an organization with ambitions to growth and to lead it towards tomorrow’s market of more connectivity, big data and sensor engineering.
As a person you are natural leader full of integrity, self-driven, diligent, and persistent in your work approach. You can structure both your own job and setting an agenda for the rest of the team. An honest, reliable, happy and smiling colleague who can engage the organization from shop floor to management to follow and go in the same direction. You come over as a curious, proactive person with high degree of professionalism.
