Summary:


Scandinavian Tobacco Group is actively seeking an experienced Head of Commercial Insights with robust management skills to fortify our Commercial Excellence team. If you possess several years of experience in guiding and supervising teams in the domains of data analytics, insights, and reporting, we are eager to connect with you!If you thrive on challenging the conventional and rely on data and facts to make decisions, the role within our International Commercial Excellence (ComEx) department is tailor-made for you. As a member of the ComEx team, you will spearhead insights, propel divisional strategy, and instill a commercial mindset within the Europe Branded Division. You will be based in Copenhagen. You will work closely alongside fellow experts in the Commercial Excellence team, each specializing in diverse areas such as pricing, digitalization, trade marketing, commercial planning, and more. What you can expect as Head of Commercial Insights at STG?


As the Head of Commercial Insights EUB Division, you will be in the heart of our operating model. Together with your team you will ensure that data analytics are translated into insights and commercial action points that address the business needs of your different stakeholders.


Your primary tasks will include the following:


  • Outline and develop the future of the Commercial Insights team
  • Lead, coach and manage your team so that they can succeed in their objectives and deliverables
  • Secure and coordinate the required commercial data infrastructure, with the purpose to become the ‘One point of truth’ for Europe Branded Division / country data analysis
  • Drive the implementation of strategic initiatives and support all kind of analysis (from strategic to operational), together and in alignment with cross-functional teams
  • Safeguard the team generates the right insights on trends, gaps & opportunities to address key business needs, also on a pro-active level
  • Drive key initiatives as a project lead within the European Branded division

  • Guarantee clear prioritization of key tasks / projects within your area of responsibility
  • Ensure close collaboration with key stakeholders (ComEx, sales organizations, strategy, finance and brand marketing) within Europe Branded Division
  • Develop and secure the right level of reporting, including senior management alignment
  • Participate in the process, and support implementation of the Commercial Plans across the sales entities
  • Support SAP implementation as Global Data Steward, Customer Master Data Management (MDM)

Your areas of knowledge and expertise (that matter the most for this role):

The ideal candidate would have a passion for data, insights & reporting with a customer centric mindset. More specifically, we expect you to have the following characteristics:

  • In addition having a strong commercial business background and mindset, education, and/or practical experience in analytical methodologies, insights generation and reporting is needed (min. 5 - 7 years), digital experience would be a plus

  • Leadership and coaching experience in an international environment, ability to lead remote based teams

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills needed
  • Seek and share direct feedback and ask the same
  • The experience and ability to prioritize what is important and be results driven
  • Drive the change, thinks and works strategic and challenge the status quo
