Your new role
The VP- Water Authorities will have the overall strategic and P&L responsibility for the segment, including setting commercial priorities and driving the innovation pipeline in close cooperation with the EVP/GBUL. The VP is responsible for securing the growth and profitability of the segment in accordance with the strategic direction and go-to market plans.
Furthermore, the VP is responsible for securing a strong cooperation across segments and the Global Business Units. The VP will be the direct leader for 50 to 60 people based in several different countries including Poland, Slovakia, Malaysia, France, Italy, and the Czech Republic. The VP will also be part of the leadership team and will have direct input and a stake in all decisions on the overall business unit with four other leaders.
Furthermore, the VP is responsible for driving sales and account management, securing access to relevant funding and partnerships, acting as a role model with a focus on customers, growth, sustainability, innovation and cooperation.
The position can be located in several of DHI Group's locations including Germany (Bremen, Hamburg, Berlin or Munich), Nantes, France, Denmark (Hørsholm or Århus), Sweden (Stockholm, Malmo, Vaxjo), Poland (Warsaw, Gdynia, Rzeszow, Wroclaw, Krakow), Romania (Bucharest), Slovakia (Bratislava), Prague, Czech Republic, or Budapest, Hungary. This individual will travel quarterly for international trips that are about two weeks at a time.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this position, one will have 5-10 years of experience selling a market around a consultancy business and previous experience working with water authorities. Ideally, you have a background in consulting and experience selling technology.
You have strong leadership qualities with a commercial and growth mindset. It is expected that you have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and enjoy developing relationships with a team and with customers. You collaborate well with others in a complex cross-cultural environment. You have excellent public speaking and presentation skills. You’re highly motivated and driven. You speak English on a professional level.
