About the department

In Production Support, we are responsible for IT & Automation, Project Management Office, Utility, Maintenance & Metrology and Facility Support in Diabetes Finished Products, Hillerød. DFP HI produce Novopens for treatment of diabetes and Production Support are responsible for operations in all the above areas. The department is organised in five strong teams and sub-teams. We are located in Hillerød, where over 100 dedicated colleagues are looking forward to welcoming you.

In Production Support we are dedicated to deliver strong results that add to the success of Novo Nordisk in crucial ways among others by delivering one of our newest and most important products to the market - Ozempic®. The position
You will play a key role in the department as the leader for our Facility support team that consist of 10 highly engaged employees ranging from skilled workers to technicians and supporters. The team is responsible for a broad range of processes within Facility Management, Facility Maintenance, Cleaning, Energy and Access Control just to mention a few. We drive both large and small projects, handle new compliance requirements and ensure impeccable house keeping in our buildings. You will be referring to local management and collaborate closely with stakeholders across Novo Nordisk A/S, and different suppliers.

As Associate Manager, you will work closely with your employees to ensure a high level of professionalism, passion and engagement to drive performance by maintaining the team spirit and results. You will create a culture ready to challenge systems, processes and ensure ongoing optimisation. All of this by being a highly visible manager who provides sparring and coaching to your employees on daily basis.

You will ensure transparency, follow up on performance, inspire to simplicity and optimisation and set direction for your team. You will do this by being curious about the processes, being approachable and communicating clearly and effectively in close dialogue with your peers in other leadership positions.

Working in close collaboration with your direct manager you will help maintain and develop the unity in the department and contribute to reaching long term strategic goals.

Qualifications
You are likely having an educational background as an Engineer, Pharmacist, Chemist and/or having years of experience from a production site.

However, the most important thing is to have leadership capabilities and a visible passion for taking up the challenges a leader will meet: If your team isn’t working together you know how to solve conflicts and get back on track.

You know how to listen, show respect and analyse problems in a concrete manner that creates solutions. You show engagement and authenticity while working in a production atmosphere with ambitious targets, a high work pace and many daily decisions.
