About the department
Needle Manufacturing & Sourcing (NMS) is located in Hjørring and is a Novo Nordisk A/S production site. The site is responsible for the manufacturing and sourcing of all Novo Nordisk A/S pen needles. IT & Digitalization is part of Business Support & Supply Chain Management responsible for Finance, Strategy, Quality control, IT and digitalization of an end to end supply chain ensuring supply of needles for all Novo Nordisk A/S affiliates and customers worldwide.

The IT & digitalization team is responsible for the sites IT strategy and infrastructure as well as ensuring that the site is prepared to continue the optimization journey which we are on through new technologies and digitalization solutions. As IT Manager you will represent NMS in D&S IT partner meetings, ensuring that our IT plan are aligned with the central IT strategies at D&S and PS level.

The Position
As IT Manager you will be responsible for daily management of app. 6 employees in the team IT & Digitalisation ensuring support to daily operations, and that IT cases are handled appropriately with no long-term pending cases.

One of the key tasks will be to develop and align IT strategies with both the NMS’ plans, and strategies for D&S/PS. You will ensure long-term IT development initiatives and will support on IT platforms. Bridging the technical expertise of data engineers and data scientists with the operational expertise within supply chain and manufacturing is also an important task in this role to ensure right digital translation and good collaborating as well as high level of cross dept. communication.

Additionally, you will drive IT & Digitalisation initiatives to support cost and productivity improvement projects at site NMS. This includes translation of domain knowledge to help NMS management to identify and prioritize business problems.

Key success criteria will be to drive, launch and support IT team and have a good collaboration in project management and stakeholder management.

The tasks of the job are primarily concentrated internally in NMS, but monthly trips to IT partner meetings in CPH must be expected.

Qualifications

You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in e.g. Supply Chain, Engineering, Economics or Finance with app. 2 years of experience in IT project management.

You are expected to have 3-4 years of work experience in LEAN projects and 1-2 years of experience in digitisation, business intelligence or advanced analytics. Experience with IT server platforms as cloud-based solutions will be a plus.

As a person you are ambitious, proactive and can interact with people at all levels in the organisation. You are able to work in a fast pace environment with diverse job tasks and a high level of independence in prioritisation, planning execution.
