Join Pharmacosmos on their mission to leverage technology in a newly established role as Head of Global IT and support their ambitions and need for a more integrated global IT setup.
Reporting to the EVP, Group CFO, you will lead the development, implementation, and execution of a comprehensive global IT strategy that underpins Pharmacosmos’ business objectives and innovation goals. This encompasses the headquarter in Holbæk as well as subsidiaries in the UK, US, Germany, and China. To do this effectively, you must partner with regional and functional leaders to understand and integrate individual country and regional business requirements into the global strategy. Moreover, you will lead, mentor, and manage a global IT team (3 direct reports and 4 indirect reports), fostering a culture of collaboration, high performance, and continuous improvement.
Furthermore, you will guide collaboration with external IT consultants from the subsidiaries in the US and UK and chair the Global IT Board. In addition, you will cultivate strong relationships with vendors, service providers, and partners to ensure the best technological solutions and services for healthcare applications. Finally, the position requires that you analyze, develop, and oversee the management of IT infrastructure, security, and application development across all locations to support pharmaceutical research, development, and distribution.
We expect you to hold an academic degree within computer science, information technology, business administration, or a related field combined with a strong blend of hands-on technical expertise, strategic leadership, and solid experience with global systems and infrastructure. You need a strong background in managing global IT operations with a focus on ensuring business continuity, data integrity, and cybersecurity within the pharmaceutical industry or another highly regulated industry. You must be proficient in Microsoft services (Exchange, Office 365, Azure Active Directory, Intune etc.), with a deep understanding of GxP regulations. You have a proven track record of leading digital transformation initiatives, leveraging emerging technologies, and you possess substantial technical knowledge of IT infrastructure, cloud services, cybersecurity, and software development practices. Finally, you are fluent in English and Danish, spoken and written.
