The Sanitation Supervisor will be responsible for the supervision of assigned sanitation practices and cleaning of equipment/ rooms for producing cannabis. While also ensuring the adherence to standard operating procedures for the operations of Valeos Pharma. This position will provide direction to the production technicians to ensure all sanitation objectives are met within the required timeframes and to the required standards. This individual will monitor and coordinate sanitation tasks, at the direction of the Head of Production, to ensure the cleanliness of the facility meets company and authorities standards. They will also be responsible for ensuring all documentation requirements are met, including all items required for compliance, safety and sanitation in production. This position reports directly to the Head of Production.

Job Duties:
- Work towards achieving maximum cleanliness.
- Work with Head of Production to establish and coordinate sanitation schedules
- Responsible for the implementation and development of sanitation related SOPs.
- Monitor and control the sanitation tools and equipment.
- Work with Head of Production to ensure optimal performance of the production employees
- Establish methods to meet work schedules and coordinate work activities, with cultivation, processing, and quality assurance, setting clear expectations of the work to be done with the Sanitation technicians to ensure product quality.
- Ensure compliance with company standards for cost control, waste reduction, quality and safety
- Monitoring and review of sanitation statuses and conditions of production rooms.
- Coordinating cleaning of equipment for cultivation and processing rooms.
- Developing, reviewing and updating all Sanitation related training guides.
- Assessing progress of room cleaning processes to set timelines and establish goals
- Researching and recommending new processes to increase Sanitation productivity/ quality
- Ensure the safe mixing and handling of cleaning products.
- Ensure the proper and accurate completion of all documents as they pertain to the cleaning, sanitizing, destroying of cannabis and cannabis waste.
- Cooperate with Quality Assurance at all times.
- Ensure all security measures are always being followed.
- Ensure all staff are appropriately trained on job tasks and hazards in the workplace
- Other duties as required.
Requirements:
- Completion of a University degree and/or experience is preferred.
- Experience in a greenhouse manufacturing environment or cannabis growing operation is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills including effective prioritization and follow-up.
- Ability to deal with confidential information with a high degree of diplomacy.
- Ability to supervise a team of individuals and address any areas of concern with respect to performance or processes.
- Ability to stay focused and complete redundant and routine tasks.
- Capable of lifting 25 kg. and ability to work in humid / warm greenhouse conditions.
- ability to communicate clearly and accurately. Able to communicate or read in one or both Danish and English (Speak both is preferred.)
- Ability to pass a background check (required.)
Working Environment:
- Similar to a busy manufacturing facility or warehouse.
- Occasional exposure to loud vacuum cleaners (ear protection provided) and bright lights (eye protection provided).
- Occasional weekend or extended hours may be necessary during certain phases of plant production.
- Constant interaction with colleagues.
Schedule:
- 8 Hour Shift
- 2 x 30 min breaks
