How you might spend your days
As Senior Construction Manager with a mechanical or electrical background, you have a fundamental desire to make a difference by securing a safe construction/commissioning site delivering high quality on-time and will:
- be responsible for the management of cross disciplinary construction planning (from weather tight building) and plan of construction contractors in according to customer requirements and expectations.
- develop and implement robust commissioning strategies together with the commissioning manager
- perform daily coordination meetings with contractors
- hold weekly coordination meetings with key stakeholders – Work Package Owner (WPO), client etc.
- do monthly progress reporting
- secure that we prioritize safety by demonstrating clear leadership in this respect.
- adhere to the strategy in the Construction/ Commissioning areas according to NNE overall strategy
- ensure project compliance and ensure that the NNE quality system, standards and methods, including OurWiki, are the basis for execution as applicable
- focus on individual’s ability to grow their skills and develop the tools they need for business growth
Who you are

- are highly experienced and highly qualified within Construction, Commissioning & Safety Management
- have a solid leadership background and experience from similar position and working with project teams
- have an understanding of project governance structures.
- are experienced working closely with customer Project & Construction managers and key project team members.
- have good stakeholder management skills and take part in building and coordinating customer relations.
- assist customers in understanding project deliverables and consequently resource/competence requirements.
The miles you’ve walked
In all positions there are some things that are needed, and others a bonus. We believe these qualifications are needed for you to do well in this role:
- Minimum 8-10 years’ experience in Construction management, preferable from pharma & biotech industries but other process driven construction sites can also be of relevance.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in construction planning, monitoring and controlling of project time and performance as well as proactive opportunity / risk management
- M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or similar.
- A proven history on effective delivery of complex and large volume construction projects in compliance with agreed cost, schedule and quality targets and in compliance with legal, regulatory and internal Group guidelines and requirements
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written (fluent in Danish is a plus)
