In this Product Delivery Lead role, you will be working on the maersk.com platform as part of the Global Data & Analytics team, developing the personalization and recommendation software and systems that guide our customers through their experience with global trade.

Key responsibilities



• Work closely with business owners to understand business needs, spar with the Architect to refine solution designs and spar with the Scrum Master to enable agile on an ad hoc basis
• Building deep and trusted relationships with key business stakeholders
• Driving the delivery of value as part of an effective, engaged team with an agile product team mindset which delivers in partnership with our colleagues across Maersk.
• Taking accountability, building expertise and form strong relationships.
• Coordinate work items across multiple backlogs (acting as a Scrum of Scum master / RTE); negotiating and influencing change across products and portfolios groups where required.
• Work with other Engineering Managers to drive platform and technology strategy to truly enable DevOps and target continuous release
• Translate requirements that need to be developed and act as day to day architect in the DevOps setting, recommending alternative approaches when necessary
• Responsible for defining the development methodology, ensuring adoption across the engineering team and SCRUM teams.
• Stay on top of development activities across multiple products while communicating status and progress back to the Product Owner and related stakeholders
• Lead a team of highly motivated engineers towards building and delivering solutions that support central business outcomes
• Accountable for the product specific development, construction, test and maintenance of delivered solutions
• Promoting a culture of learning; new ways of thinking and experimentation continually learning from experiences; inspect, adapt and continually improve
• An ability to identify and eliminate waste through process simplification or automation

We are looking for


• 10+ years of experience in software development end experience with agile and DevOps
• Expertise in building solutions in an agile/DevOps environment as well as managing teams in that space. Should have in depth exposure to business intelligence and cloud technologies like Azure, AWS or google cloud etc. Experience in building scalable, high availability platforms and products.

Business & Technical Skills:

• Skilled stakeholder- and people manager with the ability to communicate complex messages, constructively challenge Product Owners and related stakeholders
• Excellent understanding on finance domain and book closure activity for every month
• Familiar with P&L terminology and finance reporting
• Good understanding on cloud technologies like AWS, Azure and business intelligence
• Experts in database and reporting technologies like BO, Tableau, crystal reporting, PowerBI
• Ability to guide engineers through successful agile development projects in a DevOps setting, including testing and deployment
• Setting and leading high performing-, skilled- and impactful teams
• Has worked on scalable data architecture & analytics including experience from project management on multiple platforms
• Expertise on building horizontally scalable, distributed, resilient, fault tolerant and monitored solutions
• Needs to have a solid understanding of agile system development - experience with coding languages is a plus
• Fundamental leadership skills – preferably from an agile setting
