Lead Full-Stack Developer with Java

Key responsibilities

• On this role you will be reporting to the Platform Capability Lead as part of our Platform Capability Team and you will serve as the Lead Developer.

• Leading the build, test and run scalable solutions.

• Deeply understand our customer needs and business problems. Apply your knowledge of technologies that can deliver enterprise solutions and outcomes for our customers. • Work with like-minded platform engineering teams to develop the functionality of our future data systems.

• Be able to work end-to-end: design, prototype, implement, test and optimise software, alongside others in a talented and highly engaged team of growth hackers, data scientists and software engineers.

• Contribute to the wider engineering community at Maersk, sustaining and constantly improving processes, culture and technical landscape to ensure we are leading global trade in the next century.

We are looking for

• Minimum 8 years of experience in Web Application development & design.
• Developing custom Web based software solutions based upon their business/design requirements
• Strong knowledge or API development.
• Practical understanding of UI design patterns such as MVC and MVVM JavaScript frameworks (angular, backbone.js, knockout, etc.)
• Hands-on implementation of JAVA microservice code, orchestrating other JSON end-points, security services and NoSQL data sources.
• Build new capability across the team toolset, including writing tests and reviewing code for other team members .
• Must to have React JS/Angular JS/Vue JS
• Must have UI /UX development experience
• Good exposure on Html, CSS or Bootstrap
• Experienced in - Spring-Boot, Document DB, Web application Security, MEAN Stack, REST, SQL, Cloud Services, Release management, Version Control System, Linux Environment, Message Queue and Caching
• Should have good knowledge on Azure/AWS or GCP cloud, DevOps and security will be added advantage.
• Must be aware of Agile process
• Should have worked on design pattern.
• Experience with the shipping and logistics industry and related data.
• Experience in Python, python libraries and design pattern is a plus
• Working experience in implementing responsive web designs.
• Excellent knowledge of the wide range of cross-browser issues and web standards that affect client-side development.
• Experience working with Azure would be a bonus
• Ability to produce high quality & detailed documentation
• Ability to develop in Agile Scrum methodology
• Proven experience balancing multiple priorities and dealing with ambiguity
• Proven ability to challenge and remove any unnecessary barriers to delivery
• Highly articulate and credible at all levels
• Experience of working on a global level serving multiple regions and languages
• Must be able to handle company information with confidentiality and discretion.
• Experience within a customer focused environment
• Solid written and verbal communication skills including the ability to effectively articulate visual solutions
• Full software development life cycle experience

• Understanding quality assurance principles of software development

• Experience developing APIs for developer communities
