The Technical Delivery Manager must have a big interest in technology as well as being team leader and drive projects. You will work in a diverse team with members from multiple time zones consisting of Integrators, Network Engineers and Solution Architects to deliver highly technical Wireless & Network environments that range from smaller standalone deliveries to full industrial end-to-end networks.

The Delivery Manager requires strong leadership and ownership to help drive the growing demand for the Industrial Wireless & Network group.

In collaboration with the Program and Project Manager, the Delivery Manager oversees the coordination and administration of all technical deliverables for a project including planning and staffing. The Delivery Manager is responsible for ensuring that all technical deliverables are fulfilled, and performance of end to end operations are meeting the expectations. Typically, this position will be managing over several projects of APMT and endorse the relationship with the local terminal.

In this role, you will be supporting the Program and project Managers. Once a project is initiated, you will head the technical delivery, together with a team of project resources, until the complete fulfilment of the deliveries, ensuring the continuity from initiation to delivery, actively seeking to improve schedule and cost with consideration to terminals satisfaction and APMT’s business objectives since these programs often have visible impact on the terminal operations and corporate results.

Key responsibilities


•Plan the delivery of the technical deliverables and its interdependent activities.
•In collaboration with the project manager establish the overall project plan baseline: define the scope, secure the necessary resources and monitor all plans and activities until project completion/Closure.
•Drive technical delivery execution: track and prioritize activities, monitor and handle changes, address conflicts and critical issues.
•Align and secure the appropriate resources with the resource’s owners inside the organization.
•Ensure that controlled records are developed and kept, documenting technical deliverables
•Supervise assigned technical staff by providing direction, support input and feedback as appropriate.
•Develop and promote a culture of repeatable outcomes and best practices across correlated deliverables as well as to ensure the knowledge learned is shared with the relevant groups.
•Identify and evaluate the risks associated with activities and take appropriate action to control the risks
•Oversee “customer” and stakeholder management.
•Manage the 3rd party suppliers for the assigned project.

•Understand global program structure, launch plan, timing and global program ownership
•Strong background in delivering infrastructure project, preferably with a focus on Cisco OEM
•Preferably a background in Wi-Fi, LTE and other wireless technology implementations
•You can deal/work with people who aren't on board with your ideas/change and get everyone aligned
•Ensure all projects risks are understood and communicated
•Ability to communicate with senior stakeholder
•Experience of leading global and matrixed infrastructure teams, internal and 3rd parties
•Extensive Network skills across on-premise and cloud-based technologies including: Firewalls, VPN, NATting
•In depth knowledge of network security, best practices and technologies LAN and WAN technologies and protocols

We are looking for


•Bachelor’s Degree – Master’s preferred (Technology, especially telecom related)
•Minimum 4 years of experience in Industry managing teams. Project management experience is preferred.
•Experience in Industrial or Telecom Network Roll out would be preferred.
•Domain experience (knowledge of):
•Wireless technologies (Wi-Fi and 3G/4G/5G)
•Cisco Access Network infrastructure (general components, logical design, OSPF)
•PLC protocol communication incl. the different timers for PLC (Watchdog Timer, etc.)
•Automation categories in relation to safety levels
•General ability to identify and map technical use cases (high-level)
•Lead project team of architects, engineers, Business analysts, test managers, etc.
•Ability to participate in RFQ discussions with suppliers
•Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with strong ability to interact at the senior level; must have superior communication skills to influence others and meet deadlines while building strong relationships both internally and externally.
•Results oriented. Able to work independently and take a logical and orderly approach to analysing problems, organizing work, and planning actions.
•Good team player and with a can-do spirit
