• Help shape the architecture, API’s and interfaces of the solutions.
• Implement integrations, dataflows, data mappings, and applications.
• Configure the platforms cloud infrastructure and establish/maintain a clean multitenant SaaS API for the platform.
• Integrate, configure and extend third-party software in the solutions.
• Integrate to other Maersk platforms and external standardized services.
• Ensure a secure, scalable, and stable cloud solutions.
• Define best practices for development, application/architectural design, and use of cloud infrastructure for the platform.
• Communicate and evangelize best practices.
• A solid developer (integration, backend and/or frontend) with descent experience in developing for a cloud platform (preferable Azure).
• Experience with setting up cloud infrastructure using Terraform for ARM templates (Infrastructure as Code)
• Bachelor or master’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (in English) with the ability to communicate both technical issues to non-technical and technical audiences.
• Comfortable working in an Agile environment using Scrum and Kanban.
Technical Requirements
• Experience with development and infrastructure configuration on scalable SaaS solutions.
• Proven success in architecting high-performance web, mobile, and API based applications.
• Hands-on experience with integration and data-mapping.
• Solid understanding of Cloud Architecture and Cloud Security.
• Solid experience with one of the three major cloud platforms (Azure is preferred)
• Experience with Terraform or ARM templates for IaC.
• Knowledge of Cloud Identity Services.
• Solid experience with RESTful, and preferable also SOAP and GraphQL.
• Solid experience with at least one of the languages C#, TypeScript/JavaScript, Java (Other languages such as Phyton, Skala, Golang, etc. is a plus)
Plus, if you have experience with
• Microservices and/or Event-Driven Design.
• Kafka or Event Hub.
• Using and/or contributing to Open Source projects.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD)
• Azure DevSecOps tools like SonarQube.
• Docker or other containers services (hands-on)
• Kubernetes or orchestration systems (hands-on)
