This exciting role is based in Copenhagen where you will be proactively work in support of the wider global security community at APMM and in support of the Head of Global Security. The role will focus on assessing and managing risks to staff and operations in countries and areas considered to be High-Risk for APMM.
An important responsibility will be to support and work with the Regional Senior Security Managers on High-Risk project management and implementation of risk mitigation efforts. Coordination will primarily be done remotely via vendors and APMM colleague in the specific countries.
The right candidate must poses the ability to conduct security risk assessments and security vulnerability assessments, communicate findings clearly, get support for risk mitigation, and then plan and implement such mitigation successfully and effectively.

Reporting to the Head of Global Security the High-Risk Security Manager (HRSM) is responsible for implementing, maintaining, and optimizing the APMM High-Risk security program spanning across Duty of Care in support of the Regional Senior Security Managers.
The HRSM is to ensure that relevant APMM parties are informed of the risk mitigation elements to be implemented and to then support and management the local teams in making sure that these elements are implemented as and when expected. Quality control will play a large part in making sure that mitigation efforts has the intended impact. This will require ongoing monitoring of vendors and mitigation elements to ensure quality.
You will also be expected to act in the capacity of advisor to travelers and APMM entities wanting to enter and travel within High-Risk locations. In this capacity the HRSM is expected to coordinate on-the-ground support by global or local security vendors. The HRSM must expect deployments to APMM High-Risk locations and even for extended periods of time should such be dimed necessary by the Global Head of Security.
Other key tasks:
• Proactively work with Regional Senior Security Managers and their local security vocal points in High-Risk Areas to ensure that security requirements and mitigation efforts, including duty of care security related requirements are implemented and quality controlled.
• Educate local security vocal points in High-Risk Areas as directed by the Regional Senior Security Managers in the use of information platforms available along with tools (internal and external) required to report incidents, conduct security risks and vulnerability assessments etc.
• Project management of high-risk security mitigation efforts via loval vocal points and external security vendors. This to ensure that quality assurance and control is sufficiently managed and reported on.
• Monitor security and geo-political developments in the High-Risk Areas, and proactively assist the Regional Senior Security Managers in mitigating the identified risks.
The ideal candidate will have Minimum 3-5 years of proven track record working in and with High-Risk areas within security management, risk management or similar required.
Preferably you have an academic education/certification in an area associated with security management, risk management, project management or emergency/crisis management from a recognized educational institution.
You are experienced in and comfortable with project management desirably from higher risk areas, and preferably from remote project management.
Furthermore you:
• Have experience in working with Duty of Care and across multiple cultures
• Ideally have experience from a similar role within a larger international organization
• Should be well-articulated, analytical and trustworthy, with a high drive towards efficiency, relevance and team spirit.
• Are preferably confident in reviewing security SLA´s and contracts, and in producing business case, case studies, security risk and vulnerability assessments, while understanding security mitigation elements in higher risk areas.
• Have the ability to travel to High-Risk locations even at short notice and/or for an extended period of time.
You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage people at the same time as you have the ability to work independently on assigned tasks with minimal supervision.
You need to be fluent in English verbally and written - a second language desirable.
