Join us as we re-think what technology can do. As Lead Engineering SAP TM for our Inland Platform and Technology function, you will be a key driving force in building the delivery engine with internal staff from scratch and delivering changes to our SAP landscape.
We have embarked on the journey to Implement SAP transportation management in Maersk and while we are relying on varies Delivery partners in our transformation, we are investing into building our internal SAP TM capabilities.
In this role you will lead delivery and implementation of SAP TM functionalities meeting customer needs and ensuring quality, scalability of the solution. You would help building inhouse SAP TM engineering capabilities and methods allowing for frequent releases and agile-like delivery model. You would build strong relationship with our strategic partners including SAP to maintain technical SAP TM product roadmap and development and introducing innovation and best practices.
Our standard template of SAP transportation management will be implemented in Q3 2021 by our Implementation partners and your priority would be to build and enhance the template further, enable global roll out and provide application management support.
In this role, you will help building inhouse engineering and delivery capabilities and responsible for delivering to the plan with quality while ensuring scalability & maintainability of the solution.
The role will also require you to actively collaborate with Enterprise Architecture function, Delivery leads, Solution architects and product owners while supporting building out of our future internal capability around SAP Engineering. You should be comfortable working with subject matter experts, provide thought leadership and experience with new business applications platforms. You will be accountable for delivery excellence, customer delight, and employee satisfaction within the delivery team and responsible for grooming competency in line with roadmap.

• Responsible for Solution design, build, configuration, solution delivery and support for SAP TM products
• Lead delivery of the solution through managing tasks assigned to the Functional engineers as we as technical teams
• Work in an agile environment with SAP TM product owners, Architects, SAP developers/engineers and Scrum master in executing on prioritized backlog
• Ensuring on-time delivery of solution by removing bottlenecks and closely aligning with various initiatives to shape scope & schedule
• Compliance to Enterprise architecture, global template guidelines and product roadmap
• Delivery high quality solution design meeting customer needs and ensuring scalability and maintainability of the solution for Planning and Optimization area
• Manage engagement with SAP and delivery of SAP Optimizer solution
• Design approach, method of rolling out the SAP TM Global template(s), propose plan and Manage delivery
• Partner with various business stakeholders and technology leaders to translate customer needs into outcomes for business
• Accountable for Application Management support (AMS) for the delivered SAP TM solutions by managing AMS Delivery Partner
• Ensure that SAP technology and delivery capability remain current with the business goals, and direct the development of delivery capability towards long-term business and technology goals
• Acts as escalation point for issue resolution and provides direction and steady leadership in the face of uncertainty to ensure no bottlenecks impacting delivery of solution

You have:
• Proven Global SAP Transportation management Implementation and Configuration experience in the logistics industries & LSP and LCL scenario
• Prior background in SAP TM domain & +7 year of SAP Transportation Management Experience in roles of SAP TM Functional Consultant, Delivery lead, Architect
• Proven track record of working with senior business stakeholders and delivering on business outcomes through SAP technology
• Demonstrated track record of working with teams spread across multiple geographies
• Demonstrated track record of building and running SAP engineering and delivery capabilities for large scale technology transformation projects
• Exhibits great adaptability and effectively leads teams in ambiguous situations
