You will be part of a fast-paced and fun Transformation Office that is poised to orchestrate and integrate the transformation to accelerate our strategy. We are a team of dedicated individuals spanning across 20+ nationalities that are passionate about driving our technology-enabled and customer-centric transformation across process, product, data and platforms. We also play a pivotal role in M&A integrations as Maersk is embarking on an ambitious journey to enhance an end-to-end offering to customers.

As part of the Transformation Office, the Business Change Management (BCM) team is organised in 3 teams: Transformation Programmes, Strategic Organisational Projects and M&A.

The opportunity

We are looking for two Business Change Management Leads to join either the Transformation Programmes Team or Strategic Organisational Projects Team. The positions are based in our Headquarter Campus in Denmark with stakeholders globally.

Responsibilities

To be successful in this role, you will be accountable for the following activities:

  • Create and deliver high-quality BCM plans fit for purpose to large-scale, high impact cross-functional organisational changes, functional and global programmes, manage complex stakeholder groups, and lead change workstreams

  • Support the development of team members' capabilities

  • Train and coach senior executives, leaders and change agents

  • Promote and apply the Maersk Business Change Management framework consistently across programmes and ensure continuous improvement

  • Facilitate and support the transformation agenda and ways of working


Those activities should in turn deliver the following outcome:

  • Enable business to adopt changes, minimise business disruption, and prepare people for changes to achieve and sustain change outcomes

  • Help continuously improve the BCM capability in the team and the wider organisation

  • Enable strong business change management capability with senior executives, leaders and change agents to successfully drive and embed change

  • Ensure a scalable business change management offering with one consistent approach and toolbox

  • Support the delivery of the Transformation outcomes


What we are looking for

  • 8+ years change management expertise and additional business experience preferred

  • Deep understanding on what drives behaviours and how to bring people along the change curve

  • Proven track-record of delivering business change results related to large-scale, organisational transformations, complex technology implementations in a dynamic environment in a global organisation

  • Strong project management, problem-solving and change management skills

  • A team player with a high degree of resilience, empathy, and agility

  • You have the ability to:

    • Build partnerships, consulting, influencing, and collaborating with business executives, leadership and peers to gain commitment and accomplish business outcomes

    • Work with people in a variety of cultures and countries

    • Build strategic and outcome focused change management plans

    • Execute and make timely and independent judgment decisions while balancing multiple priorities in a fast paced, results-driven environment

    • Understand and analyse complex data, and ability to translate information to socialise change impact with change interventions required

    • Understand the Maersk global integrator strategy and link to the change plans and narratives

    • Understand process and product management basics, our change operating system, platform operating model, ways of working



About the Transformation Programmes Team and Strategic Organisational Projects Team

This Transformation Programmes team is focused on Operational Planning (OP) priorities that are critical to achieve our Integrator strategy. All OP initiatives are global company-wide, spanning several functions involving product development, process standardization & automation as well as tech development.

The Strategic Organisational Projects Team is focused on organisational changes and integrations within Maersk. Projects can be focused on specific geographies or functions, and they can be global changes that impact across Maersk.
