Based in Maersk Headquarters in Copenhagen, you will be part of a diverse global team that plays a key role in our delivering on our Integrator Strategy through consistently delivering on our ocean customer promise, and in particular the stability of our network operations across the East-West trades. You will be working with a range of stakeholders around the globe, internally and externally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own, drive and optimize the current & future operating model for our East-West trades in conjunction with our main Vessel Sharing Agreement partner (MSC).
- Bring your own perspectives and ideas on Maersk’s ambitions to become the partner of choice for our customers by strengthening reliability and predictability even further, including the required trade-offs, ways of working, cost & customer outcomes.
- Join the Scalable Delivery Program to represent the OCL Global team in pursuing predictive analytics in network decision making along with internal stakeholders (Network & Markets, OCL teams). Including driving the short & medium-term network stability actions solving issues further upstream & providing structure for feedback loops.
- Drive our sustainability agenda by orchestrating the design and execution of strategic initiatives on behalf of the OCL organization to reach our goal of reducing CO2 emissions by 50% by 2030, and net zero by 2040.
- Support our current & future hub operating model by joining the OCL Hub Community and lead the creation of our pre-emptive hub contingency plans.
Who we are looking for:
- Empathetic leadership style, inspirational and collaborative approach driving clear vision, direction, and prioritization, manage ambiguity effective
- Background in program management and/or leading large scale initiatives (7+ years) with track recording delivering positive customer outcomes
- Comfortable working in a complex, global, and fast-moving environment
- A relationship and trust builder and strong stakeholder management skills; ability to connect and work across functions and disciplines and engage with all levels of organization
- Excellent communication skills, executive presence, and agility to navigate with finesse across different nationalities
- Understanding shipping industry and operations is a plus
- A decisive candidate who possesses a strategic focus as well as an operational, implementation perspective.
- Fluency in written and spoken English is a must, while Danish is not required.
