Senior Program Lead in Safety & Resilience

To enable this from a Safety & Resilience perspective, we are growing our capacity, capabilities and systems to enable safe and secure delivery of the integrator strategy. A Safety & Resilience Transformation Program has been initiated to orchestrate specific improvement projects and initiatives within logistics and services – to enable our continued safe and secure performance.

We are now looking for a Safety & Resilience Sr. Program Lead to support APMM brand related Safety & Resilience Projects & Programs collaborating with team members and multiple key stakeholders in the business, building trusted relationships. The Senior S&R Program Lead will lead a variety of projects and programmes, but mainly orchestrate the Transformation Programme consisting of multiple projects in close collaboration with the Head of Operational Excellence & Innovation. You will work closely with the Transformation Program core team driving progress through active management of activities and the overall scope of the program. Also, you will lead the ongoing resource management effort across the program in collaboration with the Transformation Lead to ensure that all projects and workstreams have a transparent overview of current and future resource needs, bottlenecks and risks. Furthermore, you will be responsible for developing and improving the Program’s collaboration and coordination infrastructure.

You will be contributing with value through your deep understanding of programs and projects, related risks, and opportunities to ensure Safety and Resilience projects and initiatives are delivering value to key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Successfully conduct project management of corporate Safety & Resilience, APMT or FMT special projects, programs or implementation assignments as required in support of defined goals and objectives
  • Drive progress through active management of activities and the overall scope of the Transformation program
  • Drive reporting effort in collaboration with Workstream Leads and Transformation Lead including providing support to the Workstream Leads directly when needs arise
  • Assist the Transformation Lead in proactive stakeholder management in close collaboration with the Sr Engagement and Change Manager
  • Collect and refine best-practice program execution tools and ways of working and capturing learnings to be used in further refining program excellence across the S&R function
  • Support the Operational Excellence & Innovations Team in identifying future opportunities for projects based on critical risks and insights
  • Proactively engage with key stakeholders to understand project and program requirements and ensure correct consultation touch points throughout the project and program lifecycle

We are looking for:

  • Proven track record in delivering concrete outcomes from a program or group of projects
  • Ability and experience in collaborating across diverse set of stakeholders
  • Extensive experience in program and project management from strategic design to implementation
  • Health, Safety, Environment, Security or Business Resilience qualification or experience preferred.
  • Educated to degree level or an equivalent appropriate professional qualification
  • Logistics experience preferred.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Excellent analytical skills, problem solving skills, and ability to collaborate with team members.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills including motivation techniques and conflict-management
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Excellent key stakeholder management skills
  • Fluent English - spoken and written
