The Operations - Transported by Maersk organization is responsible for all containerized Ocean and Inland transportation operations of our customers. We're looking for a Tracking Excellence Lead who shares our passion for excellence and is dedicated to fostering highly engaged teams while driving performance and process excellence.

Role Overview:

As a Tracking Excellence Lead, you'll be a key driver in optimizing our operations, focusing on performance excellence, process excellence and cultivating a culture of engagement and productivity across the organization. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement sustainable solutions that enhance efficiency, quality, and overall performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and facilitate initiatives within our three core pillars: Performance Excellence, Process Excellence and Highly Engaged teams.

Collaborate with communities across the Operations TbM organization to establish performance metrics (page0 metrics) and KPIs (controllable input metrics) aligned with organizational goals.

Drive the work to create stellar data products to enable performance excellence for our teams globally.

Drive our communication agenda to ensure relevant information is shared in a timely, engaging, and consistent manner across the Global Delivery organization.

Structurally own the improvement opportunities to ensure that our engagement models between Functional Product Owners and Frontline Process Operators work optimally.

Own global process performance management to ensure that standard processes are being implemented and executed as per process design.

Foster a culture of engagement and high performance by developing and executing strategies for team empowerment and motivation.

Co-own global standard role charters and ensure continuous improvement as the organization is transforming.

Design and implement a global capability framework, including competency assessment and structurally closing capability gaps across the organization.

Implement a global standard for onboarding of employees in the Operations TbM organization with a strong focus on developing talents for the future.

Act as a liaison between departments, facilitating communication and knowledge sharing to streamline operations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

  • Proven experience (8 years) in operational excellence, process improvement, or a similar role.

  • Strong understanding and application of performance improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen).

  • Ability to convert standard role charters into capabilities and create a framework for continuous upskilling.

  • Demonstrated success in leading and executing Operational Excellence initiatives.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire, connect, challenge and motivate teams.

  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and performance metrics.
