The Maersk People Solution Owner, Leadership Development is an instrumental role for the success of Maersk both now and in the future. You will have the chance to co-create the future of leadership at Maersk in line with the People Strategy and Roadmap.
You will be an important part of a global leadership development team and you will join a compact team with six fantastic colleagues from around the world, report to the Global Head of Leadership Development (in Copenhagen), and be a part of a much wider network of competent HR colleagues.

Key responsibilities
- Lead the design of scalable and impactful global leadership learning & development experiences grounded in Maersk’s strategy & culture that upskill leaders globally to manage high performing teams and deliver top performance.
- Design and develop leadership development solutions, both virtual & blended, which incorporate a variety of learning methodologies and an interactive use of technology.
- Program-manage global solutions and collaborate with key stakeholders in the Talent & Development community to scale up these solutions.
- Collaborate with business leaders and the wider Talent & Development community to shape the value of Leadership Development at Maersk and continue to promote the democratization of learning and a continuous learning culture at Maersk.
- Partner with vendors and other stakeholders to design solutions grounded in top tier research, business needs and future-fit thinking.
- Partner with Procurement and Finance to engage in vendor management that includes conducting Request for Proposals (RFP), establishing Statements of Work, contract negotiation and quality assurance, as required.
What we look for
- Strong focus on Instructional Design, with significant and relevant work experience within learning and development
- Academic credentials, e.g. Masters in Education, Instructional Design, Organizational Psychology, or professional qualification in Management / Leadership with understanding of core leadership theories and best practice
- Understanding and eagerness to explore and deploy AI and technology-related learning solutions
- Able to manage projects/teams remotely and work well independently
- Able to work across teams and units in a matrixed organization
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize activities, co-ordinate input and respond to feedback from internal and external partners
- Strong communicator who has the confidence to operate at all levels within the organization and influence stakeholders
- Experience from working in/with asset-heavy business segments globally and across cultures and regions
- Proven track record of delivering engaging and informative learning interventions
