You will lead our department for Smart Mobility in Denmark

As our new Head of Department for Smart Mobility in Denmark you will lead around 30 dedicated and passionate employees based at our office in Copenhagen and Aarhus and be part of the management team in our Global Smart Mobility Division and the Cities and Clients Consultancy Division in Denmark. You will be part of a professional, strong and committed Smart Mobility community with over 300 professionals, including a strong transport modelling teams and transport planning teams across Ramboll. You will play a central role in the future development of Smart Mobility within Ramboll, a growing division with operations in all the Nordic countries, Germany, India and Singapore.

Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:

  • Provide leadership to employees in an empathic and effective way
  • Develop and grow our Smart Mobility business in Denmark and internationally
  • Secure a strong client focus and lead strategic selling activities
  • Set and deliver strategy and annual business plan
  • Develop the leadership team of the department
  • Act as role model and ambassador for the Ramboll fundamentals
  • Represent the business internally and externally and develop and maintain good relations with clients and partners
  • When needed; take roles in projects around transport planning

Furthermore, you have to maintain a strategic business and market-oriented focus when securing the engagement and commitment of those stakeholders identified as being crucial to achieving the department's business goals and/or operational deliverables.

  • At least 5 years’ relevant experience
  • Relevant educational background at a bachelor’s degree level or higher
  • People management experience from similar role or project manager roles
  • Experience and domain knowledge preferable in an international context
  • Proven ability to identify and develop talent, set direction for teams and manage performance
  • Strong business development skills and an ability to drive profitable growth
  • Fluent Danish language skills and strong English language skills, along with strong communication and negotiating skills
