Group Staff Functions (CEO) Group Marketing, Comm. & Public Affairs Global Marketing
Global Marketing is a corporate function that covers the entire marketing value chain at Vestas. We span product solutions marketing (core representation, product positioning and value proposition); digital marketing and channel management (digital channels, applications, infrastructure and activation across major channels including web and SoMe), and Brand & Campaign Management (Omni Channel Campaigns; Creative; Sponsorships; and Brand Management).
The team is agile, diverse, inclusive, fast-moving and ambitious. We consider marketing to be both strategic, tactical and operational levels; a commercially enabling down-funnel while also positioning the corporate brand and reputation effectively across all touchpoints.

Responsibilities
Key objectives for the position are to:

  • Drive strategic brand projects at corporate/global level
  • Improve key dimensions of the Vestas brand platform, thereby supporting strategic business aspirations: Brand strategy; Brand architecture; Brand Code and Brand Performance
  • Integrate brand (internal/external) across organisational processes, platforms, interfaces, and touch points in line with brand governance models
  • Enhance brand awareness, understanding and recognition - internally and externally
  • In close co-operation with the Creative Director and channel owners, continuously improve processes, structures, tools and governance for efficient and effective brand compliance
  • Develop framework for monitoring performance in order to track business strategic aspiration of the "strongest brand" in the industry
  • Continuously build the business case for why branding matters in a B2B context; increase awareness of the value of B2B brand equity

More specifically, your tasks as Lead Specialist in brand strategy projects may be to:

  • Facilitate the formulation of a Brand Foundation for company wide distribution
  • Globally roll out our Customer Value Proposition internally and externally
  • Facilitate the development and anchoring of a Customer Segmentation Model
  • Establish a Brand Performance Management program and infrastructure
  • Implement and enforce the new Brand Architecture towards M&As and arms-length entities
  • Maintain and further develop the Vestas Brand Code portfolio of brand and marketing guides and policies
  • Map and formalise a thorough understanding of Customer Journey and key customer touchpoints
  • Establish and organise the official and corporate Co-Branding strategy for Vestas
  • Support Corporate Positioning activities or campaigns across assets and channels
  • In close cooperation with relevant stakeholders, further qualify the Global Marketing Partner Architecture/Agency Landscape, including lead agency and insourcing vs outsourcing strategy

In preparation of several projects or activities, you will need to build strong and convincing business cases and alliances to free up critical resources and mandate.

Qualifications
To succeed with the above-mentioned area of responsibility, we envision that you have:

  • University degree (MA level), maybe specialising in strategic marketing, business strategy, brand management, commercial planning or related disciplines
  • Min. 5 years' experience in a corporate level with the management of a leading international B2B brand (beneficial that it is not only product brand management/category management)
  • A B2B marketing and branding toolbox (models, trends, academia, best practice)
  • Proven track-record and experience with corporate positioning / repositioning of global B2B brands
  • Proficient English skills - verbal and written
  • Some technical insight to understand the broad set of services in an OEM company

  • Being goal- and team-oriented person with the skills and desire to create results through others
  • Having the capabilities to produce results fast with tangible effects in a complex environment
