As part of the Digital Development team, you will work with the “Deliver on Promise” product group, which ensures that customers are able to easily receive, collect, return and get help, along with other innovative omni-channel services. You will oversee and support the end-to-end product management process from strategy creation, product planning and build, to launch and optimisation – coordinating with stakeholders, UX and technology throughout that lifecycle. It will also be your responsibility to ensure the team is carrying out post release analyses to measure project effectiveness.
As Director, you will manage a team and be responsible for all 20+ Pandora international websites (excluding CN). You will act as the voice of the customer, translating needs into a product roadmap and backlog, prioritise and manage the team’s capacity to maximise customer and business value. Further to this, you will facilitate a long-term view of the industry and product domain to create a vision and product strategy for the portfolio within your domain. You will collaborate with other Product Directors on cross-product team dependencies and communicate to all parties involved which products will be released.
To understand the rationale behind competitors’ strategies, you will run complex market analyses across multiple teams (e.g. Retail Ops, Supply Chain). Based on this, you will construct business cases for strategic epics which demonstrate the ability to weigh up multiple competing business cases and test the assumptions of each to ensure the right product development is prioritised. You will also create the annual roadmap of your product group at the strategic epics level and ensure business readiness.
Additionally, you will:
- Ensure the ongoing health and performance of your products, making decisions on which products to grow, maintain and stop
- Establish OKRs at the start of a project to measure project effectiveness post go live
- Communicate with senior stakeholders to ensure the annual roadmap of your product group aligns with achieving strategic goals
- Support the creation of value propositions and new features/solutions that address problems
- Develop strong working relationships with relevant business owners for Pandora Business context and with Technology for retail-specific technology expertise
